Rose & Lee
Lockdown mark 2.0 A good a time as any to start a blog
So I am new to the blogging world but finally sitting down to write is something that I have wanted to do for a long long time.
I am Fiona, owner of Rose & Lee Interiors, a little lifestyle store in North Manchester. I live in a Victorian house that my husband and I have renovated slowly and lovingly. Over the years we have added some cats, a little girl and the cliché lockdown puppy!
So why have I decided to start a blog for my business now? Lock down mark 2.0 has seen me fight for the survival of my high street store and it has galvanised me into action on my much neglected website. While I love social media, as the business has evolved and become busier, I have just found excuse after excuse to put the website to the bottom of my to do list. So I guess I have Boris or Covid-19 to thank for making me pull my finger out and get on with it!
What do I want from this new space or more importantly, what do you want to hear from me?
I was thinking I would use this little bit of the website for you to get to know more about me, the team and see behind the scenes of a little independent high street store. I would love to share tips and trends from the world of interiors and my passion for colour and pattern and anything that generally would look better with a disco ball added to the equation.
Up next time, I thought would share a little bit more of my own home with you, my own design inspiration and interior loves. You can see inside my wardrobe and my kitchen larder, I can get embarrassed by exactly how much wine and gin that I have quickly stockpiled for this new lockdown.
